Established in 1973, through the intiative of a few amateur photographers, Orizont Photoclub managed, in these 48 years, to gain over 500 awards and more than 2000 national and international salon participations. Having organized the International Photographic Art Salon of Sibiu for over 36 years – an event that prides itself with the patronage of the most important international photographic associations – Orizont Photoclub has brought together many names famous both in Romania as well as abroad.
This year the International Photographic Art Salon of Sibiu will have four categories: Open Color, Open Monochrome, World In Focus and Face & Body, and will be held according to the following schedule:
